Chuck Edwards

My name is Chuck Edwards, and I was born and raised in Torrance, CA, and I still live here with my wife and two daughters. I worked for UPS for 36 years, but I’m enjoying retirement now. I have always had a heart for children, especially those with special needs. I have worked with children in various youth groups and at the Special Olympics. After retirement I wanted to volunteer with an organization that works with special needs, and I found KEEN LA. I have been a volunteer coach with KEEN LA since last fall. It is a perfect fit for me. I love the interaction I have with the athletes. It’s so rewarding to see them participate and to see the smiles on their faces. I love the joy they show in themselves while sharing their accomplishments during the Proud Circle at the end of each session.
