Sam Nielsen

Sam Nielsen was born and raised in Connecticut and moved on to upstate New York to study business at Cornell University, where she was a member of the varsity women’s lacrosse team. After working in New York City for the year following graduation, she moved out to Los Angeles in the Fall of 2020 where she was involved with various volunteer programs before finding KEEN LA. While Sam is still new to the program, she is very passionate about KEEN’s mission to empower children with disabilities and to acquire new skills through athletics. Sam is also an active member and ambassador for her company’s volunteer program, which focuses on supporting underprivileged individuals, environmental initiatives, education, and humanitarianism.
